Session #: 077-GS2
Presenter(s): Dick Morris Session Length: 1:30 hr Event: NAIOP development '07 Conference Date: October 16-19, 2007
Recognized as one of the most prominent American political consultants, Dick Morris is almost universally credited with piloting Bill Clinton to a stunning comeback re-election victory in 1996 after the president lost Congress to the Republicans two years prior. In addition to Clinton, Morris has handled the winning campaigns for more than 30 senators or governors, including Republican Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott (R-Miss.) and former Governors Bill Weld of Massachusetts and Pete Wilson of California. He has also served as lead political strategist for several international leaders.
During his keynote address, Morris will focus on the 2008 presidential election and the prospects of each candidate. He'll discuss the impact of the war in Iraq, whether Obama can stop Hillary and who will win the Republican contest. He'll share insight into what Bill and Hillary are really like and his views on Hillary's agenda and focus, should she win the 2008 presidential race. In addition, he'll brief the audience on the state of play on Iran and North Korea and discuss our future options there and in Iraq. Morris is well known for hard-hitting, nonpartisan, objective commentary about the U.S. political scene and has written many books including five New York Times best sellers.
