A Parent Ambassadors program extends and enriches the school's contact with student families. Serving primarily as translators, individuals fluent in languages other than English help gather and disseminate information about classrooms, culture, and the community. This session's presenter will share guidelines for recruiting and training parent ambassadors and offer suggestions for broadening school contact with non-English-speaking families.
