How do we prepare teachers for settings where the achievement gap is prevalent? A panel of faculty and K—12 teachers will discuss the many roles schools play in a partnership in which the goal is to increase the number and quality of teachers for high-need schools. Using a carousel activity, participants will add to the discussion by posting beliefs, ideas, and practices about collaboration between colleges and schools to prepare candidates to teach in high-need schools.
