The WIDA (World-Class Instructional Design and Assessment) Consortium has created language standards to ensure that English language learners (ELLs) reach language objectives as they continue to acquire academic knowledge. The WIDA standards will be presented with practical ways of incorporating them into your everyday instruction, as well as strategies to make content accessible for ELLs. This session will focus on collaboration and how educators may work together to integrate language and content and raise the academic achievement of ELLs. Most activities during this session will be modeled and conducted in teams.
