With an increased number of English language learners in mainstream classes, how can we increase their achievement in language, content, and skills at the same time? This session will explore instructional delivery that involves higher-order thinking while addressing the academic language needs and content needs of English language learners. This will be an interactive session that will ask you to question the way teachers are instructing English language learners.
