In the world of leasing services, there are many intangibles surrounding a successful lease transaction. This session introduces some of the key leasing guidelines and economic performance metrics to consider when negotiating the deal. In addition to the fundamental economic drivers, we will interactively discuss best practices while interfacing with brokers and customers. Among the issues we will cover: effective communication with a broker; posing the "right questions" to fully understand customer requirements; and utilizing market dynamics in making prudent investment decisions. During this discussion we'll also will examine the decision making framework of a fund manager during negotiations with a market officer and demonstrate how the two parties reconcile their interests and come to a mutually beneficial resolution.
