Mission Possible, North Carolina's first comprehensive alternative salary structure, is successfully recruiting and retaining teachers at hard-to-staff schools. Using a combination of compensation incentives, performance accountability, professional development, and structural support, Mission Possible has transformed recruiting and retention in Guilford County Schools. This session will explain how the four core program components form a web of teacher support. Participants will engage in discussion with the chief human resources officer and principals to learn about the program's effect.
