This session will share strategies for implementing concept-based integrated arts models designed to engage learners in critical thinking. The presenters will demonstrate how to achieve conceptual understanding in all subject areas through behaviors normally associated with the arts, such as improvisation, abstract problem solving, and self-expression. The presenters will share additional strategies to facilitate self-efficacy for creative thinking. Participants will engage in hands-on activities in the construction of an implementation sample.
