Continuing from session 507, we will discuss contextual issues that create boundary confusion and what is necessary to make both the practitioner and the client feel safe. We will also explore self-reflection, peer supervision, establishing clear boundary guidelines at the beginning of treatment, and reestablishing them when boundary violations seem imminent. (Participants who take this workshop must have also taken session 507. Together, they fulfill many state board requirements for training in ethics and risk management.
