Joanne will discuss how the art licensing industry works, the different categories in which artwork can be licensed (i.e. greeting cards, scrapbooks, bedding, tabletop, etc.) and how designers can break in to the field. She will share tips on cost effective marketing methods, ways to find and contact a manufacturer, as well as how to make effective presentations. Lastly, agents and contracts will be discussed.
